In January we will be increasing our Sophos firewall maintenance prices due to increased prices from the vendor. This is a decision we did not have control over, but we strive to make this transition as painless and smooth as possible. Rates to our clients will be increased proportionally, according to the model of firewall in use and the level of service subscribed to.
We have audited all of our accounts, and this is a global shift coming to all our clients. We expect most clients will have an increase of $70 or less on their monthly invoice.
In addition, in previous invoices from us, licensing costs and firewall management were listed under one line item as “Firewall and VPN management.” With this price increase, we are also using this time to split the license cost and management into two line items. We hope that by unbundling these items, there will be greater transparency around pricing.
